I love reading and discovering something new and exciting to read. I also love sharing stories. I developed the idea for a Literature Discovery Tour because I wanted to foster that feeling in others, particularly those middle years students who haven’t yet realised how cool reading is. This tour is designed to change that mindset and encourage some reading experimentation. I honestly believe that non-readers simply haven’t found the right material yet. The discovery tour also satisfies another crucial aspect of reading… the sense of togetherness that can be gained from sharing a reading adventure.
