Andy, a recent guest on our tour, is responsible for our next stop. As a reader of all types of Literature and a gifted writer, Andy declared ‘21 steps’ “Not bad”, high praise indeed from any teenager. The writer, Charles Cumming, uses Google maps to tell a story that travels across the world. Chapter 1 begins at the link below:

Phew! It certainly took a while to get started on our tour but our first few locations are certainly worth the effort. Each is full of action, mystery and intrigue. Our tour group will be meeting Alice, a very tech-savvy girl who travels the world with her parents. Alice will be leading our group through one of the hottest destinations in the world –the intense and often eerie landscape of the digital world.

While visiting Alice keep an eye and ear out for these ‘Items of Interest’ along the way:

The wildflowers of China

The music, which is provided for your reading pleasure.

The mysterious Brad.

The use of images, light, colour, sound and music to tell each story. Note how these things change to enhance each leg of our journey.

Remember to stay alert. There are parts of this tour that may require you to immediate action. In Russia you must make a very important choice: whether to play the game or not. Choose wisely.

http://inanimatealice.com/

Don’t forget to design a keepsake for this leg of our wonderful journey. My Literature Discovery Tour Scrapblog is below:
